Shahid Rajaei Teaching Center

Shahid Rajaee Teaching Center was established and operated by the private department (Hippocrates Medical Group) in 1977 titled “Shah Ismail Maternity and Hospital” with approximately 56 beds.

Currently, Shahid Rajaei Teaching Center is acting as a first-grade hospital and patients are treated there. In addition, it is a teaching center and many specialty residents, students of medicine and paramedical sciences are educating on clinical sciences under the supervision of faculty members and heads of different departments. The title changed to “Mellat Hospital” and was assigned to healthcare network after the victory of Islamic glorious revolution in 1980. It also developed gradually in order to meet the requirements.

This Center covers a total area of 5830square meters and a campus and medical center area of 8520 square meters now. It has 230 (approved) beds and includes the following departments and wards: general surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, burn, ICU, operating room, clinic, laboratory, radiology, CT scanning, physiotherapy, pharmacy. There are specialty clinics such as orthopedics, surgery, neurology, operative, nutrition, physical medicine, and affiliated departments. It is worth noting that an affiliated building is being constructed in order to compensate for diagnostic-medical spaces due to the lack of space and old building.
