Coordination Meeting with the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Province and Examining Consular Problems of International Students

In the meeting that was held on May 29, 2023 with the presence of Dr. Didban, the Chancellor of the University, Mr. Hossein Amidi, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qazvin, and Dr. Madabber, Director of International Relations, Dr. Didban introduced the University of Medical Sciences and its services to foreign nationals in the fields of health, treatment and education and listed the advantages of tourism in the Province that need special introduction and promotion to attract foreign tourists. 

Then Dr. Madabber explained the activities of the Office of International Relations in the fields of education, attracting foreign professors and students, medical tourism and international patient departments, international research and conferences. Moreover, the strengths of the university including the presence of top medical, educational and research professors in various fields and educational potential with the number of 3107 students were listed. Dr. Modabber also pointed out the issue of educational development of foreign students in the university as a goal that great steps have been taken to attract tuition fee-paying students during the last two years, and currently there are 20 scholarship students and 12 international tuition fee-paying students. The growth of this sector of activities can be seen. This year, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences is trying to start the School of Pharmacy for the first time in the Province by attracting foreign students. In the end, considering that the presence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative office in the province is considered an important advantage, Mr. Amidi announced his readiness to follow up and solve the problems.
