In the 2025 Times Higher Education Subject Rankings, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences secured the third national position in the field of Medicine and Health, following Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and Tehran University of Medical Sciences. 

Previously ranked in the 601–800 range in the 2024 Times Subject Rankings, the university has made significant progress, advancing to the 401–500 range in the 2025 rankings.
