Qazvin University of Medical Sciences (QUMS) is in Qazvin Province of Iran.
The foundation of the Qazvin School of Medicine was laid in 1984, established with the support of the public and an elected board of trustees. The school began its academic activities by admitting medical students through the National University Entrance Examination that same year. In 1991, based on official decisions, it was elevated to the status of Qazvin University of Medical Sciences.

The university offers degree programs across five schools, including residency and fellowship programs, and oversees all major hospitals and clinics throughout the city and province of Qazvin.

QUMS began its academic journey in 1985 with 75 medical students. Today, it has grown to include over 300 faculty members and over 3,000 students enrolled in 52 health-related fields, including Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, and Healthcare Management. The university also offers graduate programs in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing, and Public Health, along with comprehensive residency programs in Clinical Medicine and Dentistry. In addition, QUMS operates an extensive healthcare service program focused on the prevention and treatment of diseases.
