The Board of Directors is composed of university’s chancellor and vice chancellors for Education, Research and Technology, Cultural and Student Affairs, Health, Resource and Management Development, Curative Affairs and Food and Drug.
Duties of the Board of Directors include:
- Suggesting the university organizational chart and office reforms to the Board of Trustees
- Assessing the implementation of Board of Directors’ decisions and supervising the activities of affiliated units
- Coordinating the vice chancellor’s responsibilities
- Surveying administrative and financial regulations and providing projects and agenda to be discussed in the Board of Trustees
- Suggesting the university’s yearly budget to the Board of Trustees
- Approving and allocating sabbatical leaves and short term research leaves to academic and research staff
