To simplify the admission process, the Office of Admissions has taken all necessary steps to make it as smooth as possible. Please carefully read and follow the guidelines below to ensure a hassle-free application experience.

How to Apply?

• Application Fee: Applying to QUMS is free of charge.
• Application Method: Applications are accepted online via our email.

When completing the application form, provide accurate and complete information to ensure successful submission.

Before applying, decide your desired level of study (e.g., B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.) and your preferred major, program, or course. Read all the requirements for your chosen level and major carefully, and prepare all necessary documents beforehand.

Application Review Process

• Incomplete applications will be marked as “incomplete” and will not be processed further until all required documents are submitted.
• The Office of Admissions will notify you by email of any missing documents. The application process will be paused until all documents are received.
• Completed applications are forwarded to the relevant school and department for evaluation.
• The Admission Committee makes the final decision, and applicants are informed promptly of the outcome.

Types of Acceptance

• Acceptance can be conditional or unconditional. Details of any conditions will be provided with the acceptance letter.
• The acceptance package is valid for one year.
• Accepted applicants must confirm their acceptance by submitting a completed Visa Application Form to the Office of Admissions to initiate the entry visa process.

When Should I Apply?

• Our rolling admission process allows for applications to be reviewed as soon as they are submitted.
• Applications are accepted year-round.
• The fall semester begins in late September, and the spring semester begins in early February.
• The admission process takes approximately 3 months after a complete application is submitted.
• Student visa processing takes a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks.
• Some programs are offered once a year only.

Recommendation: Submit your complete application at least 5 months before the start of your intended semester.

• For February admissions, the deadline is December of the previous year.
• For September admissions, the deadline is July of the same year.

Who Can Apply?

• All international students worldwide are encouraged to apply.
• Iranian citizens (holders of an Iranian passport) are not eligible to apply through this process.
• Iranian applicants with dual citizenship (Iranian passport plus another country’s passport) are also not eligible to apply via this admission.
• Iranian applicants must take the National University Entrance Examination (Konkoor) for admission to QUMS.
